IIITDMJ GYMKHANA

Welcome to the homepage of the Students’ Gymkhana of IIITDM Jabalpur. Students‘ Gymkhana is a student organization which acts as the link between the students and the administration. With the vision to boost leadership quality in Students and to foster a corporate life, this Organization was established for the betterment of Students. The Gymkhana Club promotes the objectives of fostering extra-curricular and co-curricular activities, welfare of students and their stay on the campus.

The Students' Gymkhana functions mainly through the Students' Senate, an elected representative body and the elected executives: the President, Cultural Secretary Council, Technical Secretary Council and Sports Secretary Council. The Senate lays down the general guidelines for the functions of the executives and their associated council. All members of the Students’ Gymkhana are elected by the students. Each Council has its respected Counsellor, appointed by the Institute. Along with this there are various other Clubs and Committees like Programming, Robotics, Literary, etc which have their individual secretaries.  Presently the Student Co-ordinator's post is held by Dr.Prashant K.Jain  and of the Gymkhana President by Mr. Divyansh Soni.

 

Some one has rightly said that excellence is not a destination: it is a continuous journey that never ends. This could well be the philosophy that guides us here at IIITDM Jabalpur. As an Institute, we have chosen to never rest on our laurels, but to keep innovating and evolving to offer something more and unique curriculum to our students.
I always believe that the real strength of an educational Institute lies in its students. They are the ones who can steer an institute to great height by their achievements. I wish success and bright future for all students of IIITDM Jabalpur
